Camping ‘t Weergors
In Hellevoetsluis, hidden behind a dike is a beautiful campsite. Camping ‘t Weergors. Mom and dad had read that the sun always shines here, so we had to be there to try out our new tent. And so we booked a nice vacation in the sunny south of our hometown with our ANWB card.
When we arrived at the campsite, we were kindly greeted in the small but still functional reception area. We could immediately see what there was to do in the area. Mom checked us in as a party after which we were allowed to drive up the campsite to our spot. Someone from reception cycled with us to point out our spot. A beautiful spot situated between two rows of conifers was assigned to us. The sun burned heavily on our heads but that did not stop us from pitching the tent immediately. Together with the beautiful blue picnic table, our vacation could begin.
We decided to stay around and enjoy what the campsite had to offer. For younger children there was plenty to do. We got an ice cream at the snack bar, there is a play area for children and they can go fishing. Brian is already happy with that. The children also enjoyed themselves at the spot. It was really hot days but we could find our way.
On Sunday we packed our things and went back home. Fortunately, this is not far from the campsite and the journey is made in no time. Just a short ferry ride to Maassluis and we arrived in the beautiful Westland where there are also plenty of activities.
Team Camping ‘t Weergors, thank you for this wonderful camping experience.
